JUPITER
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the JUPITER print imposition app for macOS and Windows does — and does not do — with your data.
Last updated: 2 October 2026
In short
JUPITER works offline. It has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. It does not collect personal data and does not send your files or data anywhere. AYARUX receives no information about how you use the app.
Your files and data
The PDFs you open, the jobs you impose, your prices, machine profiles, company details and customer quotes are stored only on your computer, in the app's own data folder. On a Mac that folder sits inside the app's sandbox container.
The app reads a file only when you choose it in an open dialog, or when you reopen a job from the archive; it writes output only where you save it. Backups are files you create and keep yourself.
Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold and managed by the store you install the app from: the Mac App Store (Apple) or the Microsoft Store (Microsoft). Your payment details go to the store, not to us.
To decide whether press-ready output is available, the app asks the store on your computer whether your subscription is active. That check runs between your device and the store, under the store's own privacy policy. We receive only the aggregate sales reports that stores give developers; they do not identify you.
The licence record on your computer
To notice when the system clock has been turned back to stretch a subscription period, the app keeps a small signed record of the last date it saw. The record is tied to an identifier of the computer — the hardware UUID on macOS, the machine GUID on Windows — so it cannot be copied to another computer. It never leaves your computer.
Network
The app itself makes no network connections; the Mac App Store version does not even have network permission. Purchase and subscription checks are handled by the operating system's store service. Web pages — such as this policy or your store's subscriptions page — open in your browser only when you click a link.
Ratings and reviews
If you rate the app, the store's own window handles it. The app is not told whether you rated it or what you wrote.
Children
JUPITER is a professional tool for print shops and is not directed at children.
