Language Technology / iPhone & Android Keyboard
Flow Translate
Translate from the keyboard you are already typing on.
Flow Translate is a keyboard for iPhone and Android: WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, email — wherever you type, it translates there. Write the message, pick the target language, and the translated text goes into the field you were already in — sending always stays yours. The translation happens on the device, and once a language pack is downloaded it keeps working offline.
- WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, email
- Translation on the device
- 60 target languages
- Offline after the first download
- Dictation and 20 keyboard layouts
- 30 free translations, then one purchase
The conversation in the screens is fictional. Flow Translate is an independent keyboard and is not an official product of any messaging service.
How it works
Translating a message usually means leaving the conversation: switch app, paste, translate, copy, come back. Flow Translate puts the translation inside the keyboard, so the sentence is translated in the field you were already typing in and the conversation never breaks.
The translation runs on the phone itself. Nothing you type is kept on a server, there is no account, and a language pack keeps working after the network is gone. The first thirty translations are free; unlimited use is a single purchase, not a subscription.
- 01
Add the keyboard
Enable Flow Translate once in the phone's keyboard settings; it is then available in every app.
- 02
Pick the target language
Choose the language on the keyboard itself and set your own language in the app's settings.
- 03
Write and send
The translated sentence lands in the text field. Reading it and sending it stays with you.
